Continuing Life® Retirement Community Moved to Reata Road Site
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CALIF. — The new, full-service Continuing Life® retirement community, approved last year in San Juan Capistrano, Calif., has relocated to a 60-acre site directly across from the City's recently completed Reata Park. The new community, located above the intersection of Ortega Highway and Reata Road, will provide sweeping views of the surrounding valley and will consist of homes of various sizes and styles. It will also include a broad array of amenities and services included for the benefit of its residents. In addition, a health center will be constructed adjacent to the community to provide long-term care services, if needed.
According to Troy Bourne, vice president of planning for Continuing Life, the community's land use designation is already an allowed use and is specifically identified for this site. The land use is also consistent with the County of Orange General Plan and Zoning.
"We are pleased to announce this new location for the community, particularly to the hundreds of local seniors who have already placed deposits. We're excited to provide this attractive and low impact resource for the current and future residents of both San Juan Capistrano and the exciting new neighborhoods of the Rancho Mission Viejo community," Bourne said. "We look forward to working with our new neighbors and will announce more details about the community in the near future."
